What free actually gets you

Building a character and browsing the wizard for generating an image both work without an account, right up to the moment you actually press Generate. That single click is what raises the sign-up modal, a quick email address and password with nothing else asked for, no card among it.

Characters and chat

Named character pages exist across a growing roster, each with its own chat room and scripted opening scene. In conversation, a character can send you a picture mid-chat rather than only through the standalone generator, and the same account that unlocks Generate covers that too.
